Gombithotel - Bergamo

Consider asking for a room facing the outer courtyard for more natural light and ambiance.

Central location

Cold stone floor in the shower, hard synthetic pillows, noise from ventilation shaft, confusing light switches, thin towels in the bathroom, no cooked food at breakfast.

Had extra special stay in old town of Bergamo, the staff were very friendly, location was beautiful in a beautiful square. Location: the hotel was so close to the main pedestrian street around the corner, Lake Como and restaurants.

At Gombithotel, I indulged in local culinary delights, especially at Trattoria da Ornella just 0.3 km away- lovely! The hotel's design oozed modern flair, and with a cozy breakfast atmosphere, I couldn't ask for a better start to my day. The room was super clean and designed to perfection.

I loved the decoration, attention to detail and was nicely surprise as most hotels in Italy are run down and this one was in perfect condition!

Style and interior design and location!

The Gombithotel is a charming blend of modern and authentic decor, with spacious rooms and helpful staff. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town, perfect for exploring nearby attractions and restaurants.

Breakfast options need improvement.

The place in the Old Town nearby the delicious restaurants and if you want to go to Milan its very easy

Everything! The service was impecable. The manager even walked us to the town square to show us the restaurant options. The room was large and roomy, with funky taps, fittings etc. Knowing we were staying in an old castle just added to the romance of the place. Service and friendliness that we never found in the larger cities.

The room was spacious, but getting to it involved quirky stairs.

Centrally located in a beautiful, historic city. Very nice contemporary design in an historic building, which maintains and enhances the original features. Excellent, polite service and good English

Only Italian TV!

Excellent location in the citta alta near all the sites and restaurants. Helpful staff and good continental breakfast.

Charming blend of modern and authentic decor.

The bathroom felt quite cramped with a tight shower setup, made it difficult to move comfortably. I also found the breakfast options quite limited. The hard-boiled eggs were often overcooked, disappointing. The room was chilly despite efforts to provide heating was good.

The hotel was lovely, it's location within Bergamo was ideal and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The reception area could benefit from music being played to give it a little atmosphere. Would have liked a restaurant in it, but there are so many in the area it's not a major problem.

The hotel is beautiful, very well located and comfortable.
